In 2017, during a trip to China, my parents went on an excursion to the Nagchu urban district of the Tibetan A.R. While walking, they saw a man with a beautiful Chow Chow puppy on a leash. Since my mother is a cynologist by profession, she was interested in this puppy and she approached the man to ask about the baby.
In the process of communication through an interpreter, it turned out that this was not a puppy, but a one and a half year old male Mini Chow Chow. My parents' delight knew no bounds.
A Chinese man, seeing sincere admiration for his dog, having learned that his mother was a cynologist, invited my parents to visit him.
When visiting Mr. Tevosafi, the parents learned about the Mini Chow Chow breed, that since 2005 this enthusiastic person has been conducting targeted breeding in order to obtain the breed "Little Chow". Almost half of the vacation parents spent not on excursions, but talking with Mr. Tevosafi.
Since then, my mother has been ill with this breed. Let's skip all the difficulties and complexities of registration, but my parents returned from China with a 5-month-old puppy-girl, Mini Chow-Chow. So the first “Little Chow” appeared in our family.
Our baby has grown 30 cm tall and 7.5 kg.weight. We have been negotiating with the breeder for a long time and a year later we were able to meet three more representatives of the Mini Chow breed in Russia.
"Little Chows" are very similar in appearance and character to standard Chow Chows, but are more sociable and accommodating. Little Chows are easy to train and enthusiastic about training. We are very glad that we were lucky to learn about the existence of this breed and that its wonderful representatives appeared in our family.
P.S. The circle of our friends and admirers of this young breed is growing every day. We receive dozens of letters with questions and good wishes, and all these circumstances prompted us to create a website about this wonderful breed, with our pets Mini Chow Chow (Baby Chow).
